RRB Technician Vacancy 2025: 6180 Posts Announced for 10th Pass Candidates,
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the notification for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2025. A total of 6,180 technician posts are available across India. Eligible male and female candidates from any state can apply online. This recruitment is being conducted for the posts of Technician Grade-I (Signal) and Technician Grade-III.

The online application process will begin from June 28, 2025, and the last date to apply is July 28, 2025. Candidates must visit the official RRB website and complete the application form online only. It is advised to submit the form early to avoid last-minute server issues.
🔹 Post Details & Eligibility
- Post Name: Technician
- Total Vacancies: 6,180
- Technician Grade-I (Signal): 180 posts
- Technician Grade-III: 6,000 posts
- Educational Qualification:
- Technician Grade-I (Signal): B.Sc. degree (Physics, Electronics, IT) or Engineering Diploma/BE/B.Tech in relevant streams from a recognized institution
- Technician Grade-III: Passed Class 10th + ITI certificate in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT
🔹 Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. The CBT will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions and the duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. There will be 1/3rd negative marking for each wrong answer.
- Subjects for Grade-I: General Awareness, Reasoning, Computer & Applications, Mathematics, Basic Science & Engineering
- Subjects for Grade-III: General Science, General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics
🔹 Salary
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary between ₹19,900 and ₹29,200, according to the 7th Pay Commission.
